I ♥ my BFF...

Blog Farts – noun. Def: Crappy ideas that are too short to make a real blog post, but when combined, join forces to make one unified, albeit half assed, post.
Definition coined by
Jaci

-S has off the 3rd Friday of every month so that means not only is he still laying in the bed while I'm blogging hard at work, but there was no one to make me coffee this morning. ~sigh~

-Last night was our band banquet and so as of July 1 I will no longer be the band booster president. By choice. The kids are great and I'll still be involved but not being "in charge" will be a relief to me...

-Doesn't the FDA have more important things to do than harass Cheerios? Seriously.

-I went to my lady bizness appointment this week and left with two prescriptions to help with my PMS. My instructions are to try Yaz for two months and if that doesn't help enough then I should fill the Rx for Lexapro. So essentially I'll be taking those "happy pills" that S has been begging that I get. (BTW do you have any feedback about either drug? I'd love to hear it!)

-I'm eating a bowl of Cheerios with skim milk while typing this post. :)

-If you haven't visited Sexis yet, make sure you do and then enter my surprise giveaway. Don't be scurred.

-Lately I've been slacking on visiting my bloggy peeps so if I haven't been by your place in a while, please let me know and I'll be sure to stop by today (or this weekend depending on how busy work is) because I don't want anyone to feel neglected.

Have a great weekend ya'll!

Lexapro=WIN. Seriously.

What's going down with Cheerios?

"Don't be scurred." I think you are really from Pennington and just pretend to be in a more urban section of Virginia. Fess up.

I am sure your service as booster preseident was much appreciated, but I always think it is a good idea to share the wealth and pass it along, so others can have the joy. Seriously, we had a couple that held every position in our cub scout pack for years. They would complain about it, but would not let go - my dh even got trained for one of the big positions and recruited another dad for the other big position and the couple would not step down or even share the workload. The husband of this couple was suddenly transferred far away and they left the pack in disarray. It took my dh almost a year to salvage the pack and bring it back to a healthy place - literally he did it almost entirely on his own. So, just to say, I think it is a good thing someone else will take over and you can advise them if they need it.

I love Blog Fart Fridays!

What's up with Cheerios?

I need some happy pills too. I wonder if it works for old lady issues....

What's wrong with the Cheerios? I just gave my little guy some this morning.

Hey, I DO know what's up with Cheerios! Yay for me!!! See, I watch Good Morning America, well kinda. It's on in the morning madness and occasionally I do pick something up. I agree, the FDA needs to address more important matters!

I love your BFF's and I think I may need to blogjack your theme next week.

Actually, I take Lexapro for hot flashes...you are probably too young for those, though. Keep that in mind when the time comes.

Lexapro can be a life saver and it was awesome for me the FIRST time I used it but the second time it didn't do me any good whatsoever. Good luck with that!

I have some friends who SWEAR by Lexapro! I am more of an Effexor girl...

The FDA must think we're stupid. If Cheerios were a drug, I'd only have one a day. AND I'd forget to take it. (Thanks for the link)

Speaking of drugs... Lexapro & Prozac & things like that can be like putting on glasses and suddenly seeing the world differently. But different types and amounts work for different people, so don't be shy about asking for a switch if it doesn't help.

Hi hun! Your link for the Cheerios thing didn't work - so what's the dealio with them???

I have been super bad about keeping up with bloggy friends and I'm glad I'm not alone in this, lol! But seriously, when you get time, come on over and see how awesome my husband is!!

Hugs! Good luck with your "happy pills"!!!!

The FDA is retarded.

That is all.

That whole Cheerios thing is shite. Seriously. I've never tried Lexapro, but I have a few friends that swear by it. I agree with one of the other commenters that if it isn't working like you need, do not be afraid to talk to your doctor about raising/lowering or flat out changing your prescription.

I want the 3rd Friday off every month. Think my kids will buy it?

I have a list as long as my arm that I'd rather the FDA be looking into. Cheerios a drug? Seriously?

I feel way behind on reading blogs too. To use another blogger's phrase...I'm so blogged down right now!

Lexapro saved my marriage! Seriously though, I have tried many different ones and like Lexapro the best. Good luck!
