Life Lesson Thursday

Lessons Learned From Watching Reality TV

-Creating fire and reading maps are valuable skills.

-Less is not always more, especially when you're talking about clothes.

-People around you will not appreciate it if you eat all the food, steal their (dirty) socks or just lay around on your lazy ass while they do all the work.

-While knowing a foreign language is helpful, being able to speak the English language is essential. (Thank goodness for subtitles.)

-Do not serve raw chicken to someone you want to impress. (Or live.)

-If you are cheating on your significant other, going on cable television will make it obvious and they will find out.

-Someone is always watching you. (Even when it's dark and you are under the covers.)

-Never trust anyone if you are both going after the same prize. (Although I use the term "prize" loosely when referring to Flavor Flav, New York, or Tila Tequila.)

-Guys named Spencer are douchebags. And so are their sisters.

-If the only person telling you that you have talent also gave birth to you, chances are you don't.

-Drinking too much will cause you to puke.

-Massages can be very persuasive.

-Dating the same man and/or woman as 19 others at the same time is not the way to find true love.

-It's never okay to lie about having cancer.

-Drugs are bad.

-Not all people are meant for closeups.

-Even rich and beautiful woman have self esteem issues.

-Just because you work in a restaurant doesn't mean you can cook.

AND FINALLY...

-It is acceptable to call someone a whore, bitch, slut, etc. but never, never, never talk about someones mama. Especially if they can spit long distance or you're wearing a weave.

What have you learned from watching reality TV?

Let me know in the comments and then go learn more from Denise in her Life Lesson Thursday post.

ROFLMAO!!! Sorry, still laughing! Love it! Love it! Who knew? (Putting on serious face now and I have lines in my forehead to prove it. Oh wait, no those are just wrinkles, but nevertheless) Who knew that reality tv could be so INFORMATIVE? I really need to watch more, me thinks. I'm going to study and analyze The Bachelor so I can see how to creep someone out by professing my love after watching some guy hanging out with some other girl. 'Cause THAT's true love!

Awesome post.

I'm sure that I will learn things I have never heard come out of someones mouth tonight while watching Chef Ramsey.

I love Hell's Kitchen just not the cussing of it all. I could do without that.

I've learned that I'm actually quite smart and classy!

Uh, seriously? I have learned that there is no level too low to sink for 15 minutes of fame and $100K.

Don't forget:
No matter HOW PERFECT you are...the minute you burp, fart or pick your nose will be the very minute they turn the camera back to you.

I've learned that you get to talk a lot of crap while watching them.

Remind me not to name my child Spencer if I ever have a child. Lol.

Yeah, the bachelor show - I've often wondered if those relationships really last. It's amazing what people will watch and believe!

Wow. Now I think I need to go watch some reality tv for the first time ever. I don't ever want to be on though -- I hate pictures of me, I can't imagine what it would be like on screen! Hilarious list!

And thank you so much for coming to visit my blog. Today has been so much fun and so lovely to see the response and fun comments. I really appreciate it. I hope you enjoyed my blog and come back to visit soon!
