"Trim the Fat" Thursday

Welcome to another TTFT where I didn't meet my goals!

Blah.

This is what I had planned on doing this past week:

1. Drink 4 glasses of water a day.
A lot of water was consumed this week- everyday in fact. But I know that it wasn't 4 glasses everyday. Blah.

2. Buy NEW vitamins.
I DID buy some new vitamins. They still suck ass, but not nearly as much as the others. They are smaller than my original multivitamins & I don't have to chew them so I'm trying to suck it up and just do it.

3. Take vitamins everyday.
Did & done.

4. Do 20 minutes of exercise 3-4 days a week.
Um, here is where my miserable FAIL comes in. I don't have any excuses...I just simply don't enjoy exercise. I might have even been lazier this past week then normal.

I have to find something to motivate me to get off my butt. It's stupid & frustrating because I know I need to do it, but the "doing" it part is not appealing.

Blah.

Goals this week:

1. Drink 4 glasses of water a day.
2. Take vitamins everyday.
3. Do 20 minutes of exercise 3-4 days a week.
4. Start tracking what I'm eating.

I'm keeping the top 3 & I have a feeling it will always be on my list. As for #4, it's time to take a look at what I'm eating. I'm not going to count calories this week, but I want to see when I'm eating.

By the time I get home in the evenings I'm starving & that means I overeat at dinner time. Not something I want to do so I've got to work that out somehow.

So how did you do this week?

If you are participating in "TTFT" don't forget to link up at Angie's place!

If you are starving when you get home, you gotta do something abou that. Great idea to keep track of what and when you are eating!

Totally get you on the actually getting off your butt and doing it. I know I need to do more, I just can't seem to make myself. It sucks!

I did so so, I went on a butt buster all uphill 3 mile hike with a buddy but then also had an English tea yesterday with scones, cream, pastries, Oy Vey!!

I hate exercising too. I used to love it when I was 18, because at that time, I had the house to myself. Parents were working, brother was at either college or work and inbetween my college classes, I'd go home and had the house to myself and could exercise without people commenting about it. Not now, though, and Greg doesn't understand that I don't want an audience will working out. So, I don't.

Exercise is my huge issue. My favorite is swimming...but it's rather difficult to do without an audience...or still be able to keep an eye on the girls. I am going to try and come home while the girls do tennis and do a short video (I have walk away the pounds...and it's only 20 minutes.) Baby steps, right??

My son acts as my coach so we go together. He thinks he is buff.

It helps if you could find a friend who loves to work out.

Err..I'm doing pretty badly.

But I AM drinking water as I write this. That's something, right?

Of course I AM having strawberry shortcake with TONS of whipped cream for dessert. That's probably bad.

Too bad we don't live in the same area. We could be workout buddies.

Getting started is the hardest part. Just make yourself GO.

Dont hate me, but I have a different goal. It's a difficult one to achieve for me. I have a tough time gaining weight, stress melts me down to bones in just a few days. I gained about 3 lbs and I'm so happy. Does that count?

Ok, let's focus on the positive here for a minute. You took your new vitamin everyday. YAY! You drank water everyday. YAY! You're sticking with many of your same goals, which is great! Practice makes perfect, right?!

I'm a big believer in goal setting. And because I'm sucking so badly in the exercise motivation, I've decided to reward myself with a spa day once I complete 4 weeks in a row with at least 3 trips to the gym each week. After having an awesome trip to the spa this week, I'm officially motivated! :-)

I was doing really great with the exercise before I fell into my pit and I haven't started back up. Too bad too because I just keep getting fatter.
