Is It Morning Already?!

The world's worst invention has to be the alarm clock. I swear that I hate that little box more than anything in the world. Well, except for IE when I get errors and it shuts down all my open pages - if you saw my tweets yesterday you know what I speak of.

Back to the devil box. I mean who thought it was a good idea to be jolted, yes JOLTED out of bed each morning. Typical alarm clocks come equipped with high pitch sounds or music, which is equally as awful.

Couldn't there be something a little more soothing than the piercing BEEP, BEEP, BEEP that we are all familiar with?! Oh wait, SS does have something a little different. It plays animal sounds.....so instead of beeping I get to hear a rooster squawking.

I could smack my aunt for giving him that gift.

Although to be honest I don't hear it very often.

Cause S & SS are part of that irritating bunch of people that immediately get up when the clock goes off. The devil box chirps and they jump. How can I get that kind of power?

Me? I hit the snooze no less than 3 times each morning and I purposely set my clock 20 minutes ahead so that I can.

The worst part of it all is that I'm still late. All the time. Everyday. Without fail.

Ugh.

I am right there with you...

from hating the alarm to repeatedly hitting the snooze.

And if my alarm clock made rooster sounds, I think I would chuck it out the window.

HAHA. We have our clock set 21 min fast so we can hit snooze 3 times. Our snooze is 7 min long instead of the normal 9 min.

Oh gaaaaawd! I so don't miss using my alarm clock since I stopped working.

Now if I could just put a snooze button on the Midget...

Oh and I am always about 10 minutes late for everything. And if I warn people that I'm 10 minutes late, I'm 10 minutes late beyond that. It's really quite ridiculous!!

Late? There's no such thing as late. You're just early for the next day.

I agree with Denise. You're just really early. They should give you a raise for that.

We also set 20 minutes early so we can do the 3 snoozes thing. Believe it or not, I can sleep right through the thing so my husband gives me a big elbow to the ribs 3 times every morning to get me to hit the snooze. I really should move that stupid thing over to HIS side of the bed. :)

I remember the good ole' days of alarm clocks. I haven't set one in years...well, 4 years to be exact. That's how old my oldest kiddo is...

My youngest is up at 5 everyday...I'd much rather hear an alarm clock than him screeching that he needs hot chocolate NOW!

Here's hoping for more sleep for you and I...

I've banished my alarm clock to the dungeon! Lol...If I get eight hours of sleep I have an internal clock that just wakes me up! ....But if you try to wake me before that eight hours of blissful sleep....I turn into miss grouchy pants! heehee...
