This is what I did on my Winter vacation, aka the two weekends I was forced indoors because of snow, ice, sleet and other crappy conditions:
I watched movies. Most notably Tyler Perry's I Can Do Bad All By Myself, which was good right up until the last 10 minutes. Then not so much.
I also watched the newest flick in the American Pie series. Sucked. Skip it.
We caught up on the DVR, watching episodes of Burn Notice, Human Target and Wendy Williams*. I also watched and re-watched several episodes of The Real Housewives of Orange County cause I'm a glutton for punishment.
In between that, they shoveled while I took pictures.
We napped. And it was glorious.
Then I channeled The Pioneer Woman and baked.
Cinnamon rolls in the morning.
Apple dumplings in the evening.
So to sum it up, I gained 10 pounds on my Winter vacation.
*I'm forced to DVR Wendy because the asshats at our CW removed her from their line up in lieu of Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader?, which btw, I hate. Now I can only find her on BET. At midnight.

No snow, but I went on a baking spree this weekend too. For some reason I didn't make any dessert type dishes though. Hold on... let me grab a fork. I'm coming over!
I have not made PW's cinnamon rolls...but we have made those apple dumplings more than once. Oh my are they delish! Is all that snow still there or did you manage to dig out?
OH MY! Those apple dumplings look awesome! How can I talk you out of the recipe???
So glad we dont get snow to add to my need for losing weight!
send a warm cinnamon roll and no one gets hurt. :)
Man that snow looks pretty. Sure glad I'm not there. I like to look from afar!
That food looks so dang yummy!!!!
The snow is beautiful to me, because my tail ain't stuck in it. The cinnamon rolls and apple dumplings look delicious.
I love Burn Notice.....love it.
Have a great week.
Yummy!!! My cinnamon rolls never turn out that good.
I also caught up on the shows on my DVR this weekend- Greys, Private Practice, 24, Desperate Housewives, and Brothers and Sisters. I have decided that I will not be following any more shows because there is no way I would be to spend any more time than this during the weekend watching TV.
My brother gave me three movies to watch and return, granted I have been holding on to them for a month now - Star Trek, Funny People and the Day the Earth Stood Still. I want to watch them but I am so busy. :(
DANG YOU!! You made my mouth water. And definatly WITH!!
Definitely WITH.
I've never made any of PW's recipes. But those look yummy... I may just have to give 'em a try.
Do you think all that shoveling and eating will balance out. That is what I think and I would just go with that.
I'm working on the theory that all of the crap I have eaten in the last few days will be balanced out by the shoveling. Of which there was a LOT.
Those cinnamon rolls and apple dumplings look sooo good. Save that recipe for Summit in the Smokies!!
That is just absolutely gorgeous there with all of that snow!
I've been watching the Real Housewives like crazy over the weekend! LOL
Crap. Now I'm hungry.
I would totally redo your craft room and teach you to sew. To bad I live on another planet.
Thanks for dropping by my blogitty. I'm surprised people even read it. Haha. The sicker I get them more sarcastic I am. And man am I sick. Blah.
DId you see me with my OC Housewife friends? No, okay they are not my friends, but I am an OC Housewife, so sometimes I pretend.
With. The more icing the better.
I had to cut myself from the entire Real Housewives franchise last year. I miss the drama and superficiality, but I think it's best that I don't tune back in.
