Definitely "Fall"en

The temperature that is. Ugh.

I see your tweets and FB messages - "I love fall!"

Good. For. You.

But I don't enjoy waking up to dark mornings and cold temperatures.

Remember I'm not much of a morning person anyway so to wake up before sunrise is pure torture for me.

Not to mention I hate...

...wearing real shoes; no more flip flops makes me sad.

...cutting on the heat in my car.

...dressing for cold in the mornings & warmer temps in the afternoons; layers suck.

...that my last week of Summer was spent sick in bed.

Don't get me wrong, there are a few things I enjoy about Fall such as the leaves changing colors, jack-o-lanterns, pumpkin pies, and the smell of burning fires from chimney tops.

All great things if I weren't still mourning the end of Summer.

Farewell my friend.

Now bring on the pie.

I am with you a 100%! It's hard enough to get out of bed as it is, but to have to freeze your buns off until you find something to wear it's just too much for me to handle! The only good thing about fall my bday and hockey season :/

This strange summer of multiple 105 degree days... I am ready for it to go away.

I cant even imagine fall right now! Today is the first day below 100 degrees that we have had in a long time!

Come to my neck of the woods! Flip-flops almost 365 days a year and we still eat our pumpkin pie!

I hope you are feeling better now that the temp is down...

I'm one of those fall-loving people that you hate. But now that you mention it, the getting up when it's dark business really sucks butt.

We've been having what I consider to be perfect weather...

Cool mornings where you need a hoodie... comfortable afternoons where it's not too hot for jeans but still warm enough for capris or even shorts!

I mourn and much prefer summer, too. But pumpkin (pie, ice cream, latte...) and sweaters that cover my large ass offer some small consolation...

You need to move to So. Cal. :)

My favorite time of the year is Summer! I was raised in New Mexico where it was warm from February to November, and I loved it! I now live in Michigan and this year we didn't even have a summer...

However, I must say, the fall colors here are soooo beautiful and when you get up in the morning to take your son to work and see the white frost on the ground and the beautiful reds and oranges bursting from the trees and the smokey fog rolling off the lakes, you can't help but love it.

Bring on the pumpkin pie, pumpkin latte and pumpkin shakes!!! I love everything pumpkin, including pumpkins themselves!

I love the smell of my fall Yankee candle!! Not frying my insides when I go outside in this Texas heat is just another added bonus. ;)

Sorry, I'm one of the Fall Fans. But that's because our seasons are Summer and Summer Lite. I can't even remember when's the last time I used the heater in the AC or the house. Seriously. We never get that cold. I'm just tickled that my AC is getting a break with the cooler weather. Cooler being in the 80's for the highs. Woo HOo!

I love Fall...because it is still in the 70s and 80s here. LOL.

I am here from the SITS site where you were featured. Congrats on that!

Sorry that your summer is over. Where I live (Houston), I'm not sure if we ever have an end to summer. There have been times when we were wearing shorts on Christmas! lol!

I do love fall, but fall here generally consists of highs in the 60s & 70s, lows in the 40s. Nothing like fall in other parts of the country.

Winter? I absolutely HATE winter. I just want to stay cocooned inside my home, preferably my BED, from December to April.

I am one of those people that likes fall, but I did not like the drastic jump in temperatures we recently had. I like to be eased into things.
