Sock It To Me!

I have a strange obsession with socks.

Everyone IRL knows that I love them so I get socks as gifts all the time. Both S and Lil Sis got me socks for my birthday this year.

Needless to say I have a lot of socks. All kinds of socks. Which sometimes make it in my dresser drawer but were hanging out in this tub last night while S repaired my drawer.

That's right it broke cause...well, I'm sure you can guess why.

I've got Holiday ones...

Socks with words, flames, stripes and a story about pigs...

My favorite pair is the "I ME" ones not just because that's true but they are super duper soft AND I can wear them with just about any color.

Character socks with everything from whales & Woodstock to Happy Bunny & frogs... the psycho kittie pair says "I am totally happy and not dangerous mostly" and Spongebob says "No more Mr. Nice Sponge"! LOL!

I wanted to share my obsession with you guys, and not just in pictures. Today I'm having a secret giveaway (shhhhhhhhhh!) just for my regular peeps. And anyone who is lucky enough to see this post before Monday.

That's right I'm sending one lucky reader a new pair of funny and/or cute socks just for commenting. No hoops to jump through, no links to post, nothing like that - it's just for hanging around and putting up with me.

So just leave me a comment and I'll draw a winner on Monday @ Noon.

You know what that means...more sock shopping for me! I can see it now - "But honey, it's for the blog!"

Sounds like a good excuse to me...

LOL! I have THREE drawers full of socks like that! Holidays, birthday, Labrador Retrievers, NY Yankees...the list goes on and on. A girl can never have too many socks, can she?

I love cutesey socks, but you WIN with this one. My mother is a sock freak, too. I found Libbey some skull & crossbones socks at Target last month and she's obsessed with them. If they'd had them in my size, I'd have bought MANY pairs.

I love funky socks too. Benny doesn't get it because I always wear boots so they are hidden. But at home, I can see them!

What a cute post. I've never been a fan of socks and only wear them when absolutely necessary. So glad when spring comes. Spring/Summer = flip-flops! ;o)

I love socks too. I even taught myself to knit so that I could knit just socks. :-)

Wow. My socks are so boring. I have plain white ankle/crew socks and not much else. As you can see, I'm in desperate need of socks!

When I was pregnant and going to ALL those sono and OB appointments I made a point to have a new pair of "fun" socks on each time because they'd always comment on them. Just a little sunshine in a big pregnant belly world :D

I'm a boring sock person. I have all white low ankle socks. I think you need to hook me up with a little slice of your obsession. ;)

Love socks! My fave pair I own is a set I bought for myself, and one for my BFF Tanielle, because they were so cute!

They are NEON pink footie socks that are labeled "Right Foot" and "Left Foot"!

That's a LOT of socks! I was just saying to my husband the other day that I was pretty positive that I've bought six pairs of socks in the last ten years.

So please pick me!!

Ooo... look at the flame ones!

I like socks, too. I don't have too many fancy ones, though... I think I have one pair of Halloween, one of Christmas. And I have one pair that has monkeys on them!

I LOVE your sock collection! I was thinking recently I need to go out and buy a bunch of wild socks because where I've worked for almost 8 years, we've always been able to wear any color/print scrubs we want. But starting Monday we ALL have to wear navy blue. So I was thinking socks would be the one way I could express my individuality. Then I'm sure they will start regulating our choice of socks. But I can try.

So funny with the socks....I don't care for socks, or shoes... I can't wait for summer when it's nothing but flip flops....

I love socks, too, but my collection isn't nearly as big or impressive!

Oh you and my younger daughter would get along sooooo well! She's actually very - extremely - fashionable, until you get to her socks...
But they do tell of her bright, sparkly personality!

Look at all those socks!! Awesome! My oldest daughter is crazy about socks like you are, and now The Bella is right behind her.

I keep forgetting to tell you that your profile pic ALWAYS makes me crack up, no matter how much is going wrong at the time. I think I might print *you* out, frame you and stick you on my desk, lol!

I buy them for my granddaughters and they love them! If I win I will give them to the girls. I'll buy another pair as they each would need one. Clever idea!!

I have a lot of socks as well. My favorite are fuzzy knee high ones to keep me warm in the house and thick shorter ones for when I go out. I am not looking into ones with toes for added warmth.
