I'm ready for warmer weather...

It's sooooooo cold here. Only 21 degrees when I left the house and I hate cold weather. Ick.

It's been this cold all weekend and we went to two parades on Saturday, one of which was only 15 minutes long but I could only manage to get one picture. Why? Because it meant taking my hands out of my warm pocket and I really didn't want to do that.

I didn't take any pictures of the second parade because I was too busy drinking hot chocolate and holding my spot right next to the propane heater. There was no way in hell I was moving from that spot.

Yesterday I went in the cold to celebrate my nephew's 5th birthday. He had a blast, but then he always does. I love that he's still young enough to be excited about all his gifts. Even the ones he didn't know what they were...or clothes. The kid was excited about getting clothes. I ♥ that.

Birthday boy's mean look

Sweet beefy girl...she has two teeth now that you can barely see.

This was actually the second time he blew out the candles since the first time he did it before anyone could sing.

The mask from the cake. I was taking the picture and he says "I'm smiling, but you can't see it cause of da mask." Uh yeah.

My Dad with Beefy.

It's really hard to type and hold my cup of coffee, aka the source of heat for my hands at this moment so I'll just remind you to send me an email if you would like me to snail mail you a Christmas card - brandyu@gmail.com.

And the big GIVEAWAY is coming soon!

It was super cold here but seems to be warming up. That or I'm starting to get used to it.

You know when I *lived* in Vietnam last Sept/Oct/Novemeber for 7 weeks it turned *cold* there. Yep, it went down to 70 degrees-- FRIGID!!! You don't think so? Well, all the Hanoi citizens thought so and were wearing their WINTER COATS, hats, gloves. It was absolutely insane! I was cracking up, in between pretending to bundle Jenna and Emma so I wasn't scolded by some old Vietnamese woman. (Happens all the time there)

I think it was about 23 this morning when I took the girls to school... it's about 35 now. Brrrrrrr!!! But it's supposed to get up to the low 50s today!
