I should be happy about it since we haven't gotten in rain in weeks but I really, really hate when I have to go out and it's raining. Now if I can stay in and sleep all day...that's a whole different story.
For me, rain = sleep. Needless to say I've been having a
And so because of my laziness, lack of motivation and working for family situation I rarely dry my hair for work anymore. Luckily, I have naturally curly hair so it's not all bad. I say ALL bad because I have a love/hate relationship with my hair.
I love that I can go to work wet, that it has a natural bounce to it (most of the time) and that I get lots of compliments on it.
I hate that I cannot get a fancy new hairstyle unless I want to spend hours blow drying my hair, only to have it ruined at the first sign of rain or humidity.
I hate that my hair looks the same all the time...you have a choice between down, pulled up at the crown or ponytail and that's about all that I can really do without looking retarded. (Today: pulled up at the crown.)
I hate that I'm a 32 year old woman and I have hair reminiscent of a child Ala Shirley Temple or a poodle.
So NOT a good look for an adult.
I know it could be worse but you know how it is. People with curly hair want straight and vice versa.
It's always the straight haired gals that compliment me and make a fuss about my curls, because us curly haired chicks know it ain't all its cracked up to be.
