Under Siege - Attack of the Birds
This is the view from our backyard everyday. Every. Stinkin'. Day.
S has declared war with them.
Because as you can imagine with birds comes bird poop. Poop on the cars, poop on the driveway, poop on the patio, poop on the hot tub (that one really eats him up)...poop, poop, poop.
Honestly I was afraid to go outside and video them for fear of...the poop.
S wasn't there last night when I filmed this, so I washed off the hot tub while I was outside. I figure it was the least I could do since I brought the birds.
Yes, he blames me. He believes ALL these birds, thousands & thousands of birds, were brought forth to perch in our trees because I put out one bag of bird seed 4 months ago.
ONE bag. FOUR months ago. THOUSANDS of birds.
I don't think so.

Freaky! You know how I feel about birds between being attacked by a mocking bird, okay almost attacked, and living next door to a pigeon farm, not officially, but may as well be. I so sympathize with you and S.

I really hope Heather (Mindless Junque's Heather, that is) doesn't wander over here today. She is deathly afraid of birds.
I'm not scared of 'em...but I don't like their droppings. And no, it's not your one bag, put out 4 months ago. It's cause birds are smart...they're hiding in your trees, trying to evade all this freakin' RAIN we've been having for the entire summer. Seriously...that's it.

And no, I don't think they're all after the birdseed you put out months ago.
it's paige's worst nightmare...she hates birds! and i have the poop fear too! it's funny when others get hit, but i don't wanna!
I have seen huge flocks of birds like that. But never in my yard. Never every day.
We never put out birdfood because the squirrels will come and eat it! And I think I hate squirrels more than birds!

We don't get a lot of birds around here, but the ones we do get eat a lot and have tremendous aim. Barstards.
Maybe a scarecrow? Is that the lamest suggestion ever?
I. Hate. Birds. Period. Hate them. I would be completely freaked out to see that many birds swarming my house. I would probably be trapped in my house fo-evah.

wow! it's a miracle you didn't get pooped on! that is intense...in friggin tense!
Birds are cute when they are on things such as home decor items... or jewelry... or clothing...
But real-life birds? When their wings are all flappy and they're pooping everywhere? Notsomuch.
That would SO freak me out. I just can't get past the movie The Birds. Yikes.
