For the last week friends have posted pictures of their kids heading back to school on their blogs & Facebook. I've commented & "liked" photos of their kiddies dressed in their first-day-wear, most of them looking pretty excited.
Or at least their mothers made them smile. Whatever...
In return I thought I would post a picture of the teen on his first day as an official senior so you guys could oooh & ahhhh over it...
Um, yeah.
It just didn't happen. Instead here is what took place this morning...
Scene #1 with Brandy:
(As we passed in the hallway)
Teen: "Loser"
Me: (a half open eye, very groggy) "Shut up"
Scene #2 with S:
(In the kitchen)
S: "Have a good day at school"
Teen: (laughs as if this is a retarded statement)
S: (play punches teen in the kidneys)
Teen: (laughs harder)
Scene #3 with Brandy:
Me: "Teen!"
Me: "Teen!"
Me: "TEEEEEENN!"
Me: (walks to down the hall to his room) "Hello?"
Me: (looks out the window to find he has already left)
Not only did I NOT get a picture but I also did NOT get a goodbye.
~sigh~

Amber "likes this". Picture of thumbs up here.
So this is what I have to look forward to...times 2...sigh...
Ahhh yes teenagers...ick! LOL... if you need a picture I will put on a backpack and take a picture of myself :) Thats the kind of crap I do for friends lol
Um, yeah. Sorry, I forgot to tell you. My two boys wouldn't even go to a photographer to get Senior Pictures!
I think that you can do it again tomorrow. And pretend it's his first day of school. Do you think he'd let you pick out his clothes? I am sure he'd be quite willing because of the guilt I am sure he is feeling right now over not saying goodbye to you this morning. It's probably really distracting him...
Do my kids have to grow up and be teenagers? I don't think that I really want that.
just when I think Graham can't be any more of a jerk... I'm reminded that the teenage years are yet to come... good times.
Hehe, so much to look forward to.
My girls don't go back for two more weeks. There will not be pictures. It's dark when they head to the bus stop.
well isnt that just dandy?
how old is said TEEN?
Okay well I'm a little afraid when my kids get to be teens..
Though I'm still taking their pictures. Even if I get one of them flipping me off. I'll stick it in the album and be all, "Oh that rude picture? Yeah, you were just going off to high school.."
Eh, teenagers...
Awwww, that's a shame. punch him in the stomach (lightly of course) when he gets home!!!
Ya'll are funny...
I feel your pain. I took what I thought was a great photo of my oldest son at his first football game last night. And he refuses to let me put it on my facebook page. I will respect his wishes, of course (and there are others he DID approve of), but I just don't get it.
