Sadness, Glee & Fuggs

**Yesterday morning I read that James "The Rev" Sullivan had passed away. He was the drummer of my much beloved band Avenged Sevenfold.

I'm sure most of you don't know who he is and that's okay. Just imagine a member of your favorite band suddenly dying & you'll get it.

The Rev will be greatly missed.

**I'm so ready for TV to come back to life. It seems everything went on hiatus for the holidays and now there is absolutely nothing on. You would think that during this time I could find more productive things to do. If so, then you would think WRONG.

I need TV time to relax and refresh.

**S gave me the Glee Soundtrack Vol 2 for Christmas. I already had Vol 1 and LURVED it. It's one of those albums where I can sing along with every track and I fully expected to be enthralled with this one too.

I'm not. It's good, but not as good as Vol 1. There are a few songs that I belt out to but I don't love the entire cd so I find myself going back to the songs I like over & over.

**Pictures of my gifts as requested:

<--My boots. Or as I call them, my "Fuggs" aka fake Uggs.
<--Cute socks from Sis. There was a black pair too but I wore them. And now they are in the laundry.
<--It looks pink but I swear it's red. S likes to call it "hooker red". Either way I love it.
<-- My new Kathy. ♥

**I also got a cast iron pan so if you have any advice and/or recipes please let me know. I'm a cityfied girl that has never owned a cast iron pan & had to call Lula to find out if "pre-seasoned" really meant it was. Her advice: Don't believe the hype.

As of about three weeks ago our DVR was so full of stuff we hadn't had time to watch that I thought for sure we would last through the Christmas tv hiatus. WRONG. I'm ready for all of my shows to come back!

Those purses are FAB! Love, love, love the red one and your Kathy is to. die. for. For real.

Great new purses.. I have fuggs too and I can't wait for Glee, Trauma (which may have been on this week but didn't check, didn't have time) and 10 things I hate about you.. Glad you had a good Ho HO...

I thought about you immediately when I read about his passing; I remembered being so jealous of you getting to see them live! So, so sad.

I, too, am a connoisseur of Fuggs! I've had just about every color at some point, but right now I only have black. I want some fuschia ones!

Fuggs... LOL!

Loving the socks.. glad to see I'm not the only one who cares about apparel for her feet.

Lots of things you can do with cast iron. Corn bread, shepards pie, chicken pot pie or just stovetop cooking or browning of meats and never have to worry about scratching the non-stick coating. I use bacon grease to season and oil my cast iron.

You will now have to do a cast iron pan tutorial. I have never cooked with one either :-)

Love the boots and the socks and the purses!

And I can't wait for my shows to come back either. Big Love is Sunday. And the rest...not till February or later. At least that gives us lots of time to watch the first five seasons of LOST. Again...
