*I recently discovered the goodness that is pesto. For years, I've read about it or heard it mentioned on the cooking shows I watch. I've even seen it made - roasted pine nuts, basil, garlic & olive oil whipped into an green paste - but it didn't look that appetizing. OMGosh why didn't someone make me try it before now?!
*How much is too much when it comes to updating your FB status? I always thought once a day was the norm, but then heard a convo this morning where some people found that to be irritating. I don't particularly care for when people have their twitter updates connected to their FB status (Well except for LiLu, cause she's just funny as hell.) but a couple times a day doesn't bother me at all. Opinions?
*HBO is on my bad list right now. Next week should have been the True Blood finale but those bastards at HBO are making us wait two weeks. For the last show. The. Last. Show. WTH?
*Did you know that I wrote a guest post for Denise's "Money Saving Monday" series yesterday? Cause I did. You should check it out & then be sure to visit every Monday for more money saving ideas.
*I've won four giveaways in the last month or so but I've neglected to thank those bloggers so...
Thank you Brandy! The bows are adorable! (Stop by her place -she has even more giveaways going on this week!)
Thank you Christina! I love the EcoStore products that I picked out. (Coconut soap, citrus spray cleaner & pure oxygen whitener in case you were wondering.)
Thank you Angie! I got my Paula Deen books yesterday & already read through Kitchen Wisdom and Recipe Journal. I ♥ her. And you.
Thank you Josie! I cannot wait to get the tutu bow holder for one of my girls!
...whew! I feel much better now.

Guest blogger SURPRISE!
Wow, it's that time again. Seems like yesterday B was asking me to do a guest blog and now I'M BACK! Bet she didn't expect one like this.
S here reporting for duty.
First of all, I need some help. SS is a senior this coming up year. He wants to go to college (Yeah! He will soon be going to college. Can we say travel for B & I?) but I'm a real idiot when it comes to this stuff.
He is really awesome at music and wants to be a music teacher plus he wants to do marching band in college. So I'm asking for help from you. What questions do I need to ask the prospective colleges to help me, help him make a good choice? Do you have any general advice about getting accepted or getting scholarships?
I hope you can help.
B's bloggy anniversary just passed so I want to wish her a Happy Bloggy Anniversary! I enjoy reading her posts daily and hope there are many more to come.
Actually this is her 300 post! To celebrate both occasions I am giving away a $25 Amazon.com gift card to one of you guys.

Just like B does, I came up with a couple of ways to enter:
If you leave me a comment helping me with my college issue, then you get your first entry.
I REALLY need your help.
You can get an extra entry if you follow B. (She said to make sure you leave her a comment for all this so she can use Random.org - whatever that is.)
You can get 3 extra entries if you Twitter about the giveaway. (Again, I'm clueless about this Twitter stuff, but B says to put this in.)
Finally, to get 5 extra entries post your own blog telling people about my giveaway. (Make sure to leave a comment. B is nagging me about this.)
You could have 10 entries total, which gives you pretty good odds at winning. B says you HAVE to leave your email though.
B will choose a winner on Sunday because it's Father's Day.
I know this is probably not what she wanted for her guest blog, but it is what it is. Maybe if she's good, I'll give her a present too.

24 hours of hell...post by S
As promised here is S's side of Tuesday night's events and then the rest of his "24 hours of hell"...
Let me start off by saying if you are under 18 and if you have virgin ears please stop reading, I cant be responsible for how you feel after you read this.
Ok, lets start with last night or should I say this morning. Around 12:45 my cell phone starting ringing, I was like what the fuck its late. So I didn’t answer and waited for it to go to voicemail, then it rang again. Fuck. I am asleep.
I check my voice mail to see what it was. It was my office burglar alarm, which means that the wind was up and the over head door was being jared by the wind. So I ignored it, figuring that it wouldn’t happen again.
Boy was I fucking wrong. While I was on the phone checking my voice mail the company called again. The lady was all like the alarm went off and that ohd #5 was triggered the alarm. I was all like the fucking wind, I'm trying to sleep lady. Don’t you know its one am?!
Then she called back and said that there was a forced entry and the police was there. They needed a key holder there to meet them. I said okay give me 20 minutes. By this time I put my phone on silent because I wanted to go back to bed. Hello, it's one in the fucking morning and I am not drunk.
I left to meet the police, not knowing what to expect and put my phone back on ring. The lady (not what I want to call her) called AGAIN. While I was checking my voicemail again. FUCK! She called back, like blowing my damn phone up.
She said the police were leaving and that they found a door unlocked. I was like lady, I am up and would like the police there since I am on my way. I mean hell if it had been forced entry, I would need a police report to give to the corporate office.
When I got there no police. I drove around the building to see if anything was missing or where the forced entry was. Since that is what I was told. While I was doing that an officer showed up. He explained to me that there was NO forced entry. It was just one of the overhead doors were left unlocked. Him and another officer checked it and found nothing missing or messed up.
I said maybe they left it unlocked for a truck driver coming early in the morning or a late delivery. I was covering for the mother fuckers who didn’t want to answer their phones.
See I am number 3 on the call list, and the fucker I was covering for is number 1. So when I was on the way back home I text a co worker and my boss to let them know what happened and that I would be late to work since I was still up handling this bull shit. FUCKING WIND.
I was up late as hell watching tv and listening to B to tell the lady on tv to shut the hell up. I did get a couple of hours sleep. Once I got up and while the coffee was brewing, I called into the office to make sure everything was okay. The people at work thought it was a April Fools joke. I said you give me more credit than I deserve. To get up at 2 am and send you a text message and then stay up the rest of the fucking morning.
I didn't up because I was tired as hell.
Answer your phones, get the door fixed. I'm putting the phone on silent, and if there is a real emergency the house phone will ring.
I really like my job. I do have perks but I need my sleep, and please let B get her sleep because I have to live with her.
Then round two-the track meet from hell.
SS runs track, and we go to support him on anything he does. But WTF?! I go to the other high school this week, and they have a track along the river with a lot of bugs, no lights and no bleachers.
And they charged me $3 to park my truck, and then STAND to watch. Since they had no bleachers and no where for my fat ass to sit. I mean I have been going to track meets for 4 years and this is the only place I have been that I didn’t have a seat on the bleachers, no lights and charged me to get in.
With NO Bleachers.
I told the kid your actually charging me to park my truck, go to the track meet with no bleachers to sit on. Our school doesn't charge for track meets until district and then we have bleachers and lights.
Sorry, if I am a little selfish. I don’t mind paying to get in, if I could sit on some bleachers. I can sit on wet grass anywhere for free. Please if you are going to charge me, give me some Bleachers to sit on.
Guess you can tell I am a little whiney about no bleachers.
And tired.
~End Rant~

Saying goodbye...
I'm posting this with a heavy heart this morning. Unfortunately it's come to a point where I'm going to have to delete my blog and say goodbye. I was hoping that I could figure out a way to balance this with everything else that I do but it's just become too much.
Blogging has taken over so much of my time that I've neglected just about everything, including my work and household. With work getting busier and SS being involved in track, I know it's the right thing to do, but that doesn't make it any easier to say April Fools!
As if you could get rid of me so easy! Ha ha! And yes I realize this joke is probably being done all over the blogging world but gimmee a break, it's my first AFD as a blogger.
No seriously S LOVED guest blogging yesterday. I swear he has become such a comment whore, calling to ask how many responses he had and then even commenting back to a couple of you.
Oh and get this...he's even got his next blog topic all figured out. Assuming I let him "take over" again.
Moving on to some other comment lovers...
In case you missed it, my pal Denise is THE featured blogger over at SITS today so make sure you show her some comment love.
And Candice is having an Eden Fantasy's giveaway for $50 gift certificate so you can choose your own goodies. Enter her giveaway HERE. While you are there check out THIS post. I swear you will laugh yourself to tears and be at risk of peeing on yourself. Pinkie promise.
Okay so let's recap. I'm an awful, terrible person wholied joked that I would no longer be blogging. S is a comment whore. Denise is being featured. Candice is a funny ass chick that is giving away funds for dildos.
Got it?
Good.

He says...(Guest post by S)
WTF? I got called out by TMM so she better be the 1st one to comment on this.
I don't know what to blog about or vent. It could be how we have an inexperienced President. No, that's a touchy subject. I wish it were a female. At least then they would be better to look at.
I could vent on how a couple of our "close" friends are 2 faced and inconsiderate m'fers, but that's not cool and I don't want to step on any toes.
Let's talk about birthdays. B got a whole Birthday week, with a different present everyday; she even got to pick which one to open. I got a bag of peanut M&Ms (A BIG BAG!) which is one of my favorites. Plus B is paying for new grips for the Street Glide, which are going to make it a point of putting miles on this year with or without the "friends" riding with us.
I would like to thank all of ya'll who wished me a Happy Birthday this year. The kids are getting older so they came through this year and bought me some candy, which is the sh*t. I think it's called Ferrero Rocher. I know it's round and in gold wrapping. The really great thing about this is that the kids really paid for it.
Who does Jason Statham think he is? Beating up like 19 guys, taking his shirt off doing it and using it as a weapon. And doing it in front of a woman, who is actually licking her lips for him. So realistic. :)
Last time I guest blogged, I wrote about B and how wonderful she is. I don't have to do that this time since you all know she is. Please check out how much money she is saving on her Craving Savings blog. I tell everyone to check it out.
Last but not least when she reads this she will know it's for her.
This was a guest post by my hubs, S, who turned in his assignment several days early this time after being called out by TMM. I swear he really wrote this, even the now infamous smiley face. I may have edited some of the curse words but you still get the point. If you want to see who else is guest blogging today TMM has it linked up HERE.

Worthless Wednesday
Once again I have nothing particularly fascinating to write about. Last night I went on one of my "couponer" trips to Wags and CVS so I didn't get to relax until almost 9 o'clock and then I just read up on some blogs I missed yesterday.
Imagine my surprise when I see S being called out over at TMM's place. Cause last time she hosted a guest blogger thingee he didn't write his post until a few days after the initial link up. Then he had the nerve to be all whiny cause my lil sis's guest post got more comments.
Goes to show you that sometimes being on time matters. I mean I'm not going to live by that rule, but everyone else should.
If you want to participate in the Guest Bloggy Thingee this time the link up is going to be on Tuesday March 31st at TMM's. And please for the love of all that's holy - Be. On. Time.
Again that doesn't apply to ME, just everyone else.
This morning as I was running lateagain and listening to a CD cause my favorite radio dj's decided to take a vacation...As if anyone should be on vacation if I'm not...and my all time favorite Avenged Sevenfold song was on.
I love this song so much it's a permanent part of my body.

Listen to the words...it's deep.
Unlike this post.

Guest Blog from S...finally!
She asked me to do a guest blog, which I think is crazy. But for all of you that know B, it's better to go ahead and do it or she will not stop whining. So here it goes. I don't know what to blog about, but I read hers everyday so I will give it a try.
She has an addictive personality. Whatever she does, B gives it 150%. She can't go a day without blogging or even thinking about it. (LOL! I read it everyday so I must be addicted too. That really is the first thing I do when I get home from work.) We can't even go on vacation without her bringing the computer with us. She says it is for work but she wants to blog.
If you think blogging is the only thing. OMG let's talk about coupons and CVS. Sunday rolls around, B pulls out the coupons and ads and smoke actually starts coming from her ears. You can really see the wheels turning. She goes to Kroger or Food Lion everyday. It's unbelievable how much money she saves.
If I'm not mistaken she keeps up with it. Ever want to know? Just ask. I'm sure she will tell you.
CVS. B has to be the CVS Queen. She will go there and actually get like $50 worth of stuff for .11. We actually bought Christmas presents there. (I have to admit she impresses me with that. That is a secret. Don't let her know that. (: ) She doesn't like for me to go with her because I cost her money. But really whatever she sets her mind to B succeeds.
Before I end this I have to comment on a discussion me & B had the other night. See I am 36 years old. We have been together for 12 years. So that means she has been with me 1/3 of my life.
I am stubborn, hard headed, I like things one way. B is a very strong willed, kind hearted woman. Who is actually my soul mate. She understands who I am, and knows how to deal with me. And actually she can help change my mind when I am wrong.
Because I really didn't want to write this. But because I love her I did. Hope it doesn't sound stupid. Maybe, just maybe I will get lucky for it. :)
(All this stems from TMM's idea to have our significant others write a blog for us. My Sis did it on Tuesday, and S decided his life would be easier if he just did it too. I really appreciate him taking the time to write it all out. I love you honey! You did a great job...although I do NOT go to FL or Kroger everyday, but pretty much everything else is true. Including the last part. Bowchicawowow)
See he really did write it all out...even the smilies!
