No surprise that part of my enthusiam for this season is directly related to food; I already have several soup & stew recipes ready for when the temperatures drop. I've been dreaming for weeks of baking. And apples. And pumpkins. And Starbucks salted caramel hot chocolate. And...well you get the point.
Are you looking forward to Fall? What's your favorite part of this season?

I love the smells of fall - Cinnamon and fallen leaves and pumpkin and warm drinks... and I love the cozy.. I love that it starts to get dark earlier and I can light candles and wear cozy sweatshirts.
yeah... 95 here yesterday. Fall???
My favorite season, hands-down.
I put up my fall decorations in defiance of the 90+ degrees outside, and I'm baking some pumpkin bread tomorrow. So there.
Love your door decor!
Sigh. It was 96 here yesterday. And I am thinking about Chili. But there is no way that I am going to make any. I did find pumpkin muffins at Sams last week - they were rather delish! And that salted caramel hot chocolate - no Starbucks around here would make it last year - do you know if they are brining it back???
I love fall. I was looking through my cooking mags just today picking out fun soup recipes. I am so ready for the crisp air, and fires in the fireplace, and swirling leaves. I am OVER this heat.
Oh Fall, you are my favorite season of the year (could you go ahead and kick in some cooler temps please? Just sayin'). I's hard for me to get my Fall on when sweat is running down in all my places......
I love your door thing a ma jig. It's gorgeous.
I did not know that Starbucks served something that sounds as delicious as salted caramel hot chocolate. But now that I have been informed, you can bet as soon as the temperature goes below 70 here, I'm headed over to the big city to get me one.
My favorite part of the season is the beautiful colors and the crisp air (if it ever gets here this year).
i have been itching to make pumpkin desserts
Love your thinga-ma-jig.
Ok, that just sounds weird. But you know what I mean.
It was 93 here on Wednesday... 95 yesterday. Supposed to be 92 today, then "cool down" to the mid-80s for the weekend.
Pffft.
I have a feeling we aren't going to have a "fall" this year... it will go from warm straight into freezing-my-ass-off cold.
I love the food of fall. Caramel apples, apple pie, apple crisp...mmmmm....
It definately feels like fall in Wyoming.
