That word - discombobulated - sums up my week perfect. It's been one of those weeks where you feel busy but you aren't sure what you've been busy doing.
There is only one morning where I've gotten to work on time and worked the whole day. Every other day I've had errands to run before work and/or left early. This has cut into my computer time. A lot.
So I've been neglecting most blogs (sorry!) instead focusing on keeping my other blog, My Coupon Blog updated. And in true glutton-for-punishment fashion I have created a Facebook page for My Coupon Blog to further publicize my addiction to coupons.
As if I needed one more thing to do.
In between work, shopping and general life, I've been reading Denise's best-seller-book-in-progress because the storyline has pulled me in and I can no longer wait to read the chapters she sends me. You can read a little excerpt of Chosen on Denise's book blog. And then be sad because you aren't as special as me to read it all as it enfolds. Ha!
As you can see I haven't really been starved of the internet but just doing things a little different than the norm.
It doesn't mean I don't love you though, cause I totally DO! I promise to get back into a routine as soon as the snow stops, the power stays on and work doesn't actually expect me to do any work. :)
Have a great weekend ya'll!

The Power of Three
THREE has always been my favorite number. I'm not sure why, but as far back as I can remember, I always choose "3" when I had to pick a number.
It might be because my birthday is in March - the THIRD month of the year.
Or maybe it was because I was the first of THREE girls.
I just don't know.
When I met S and he said his favorite number was also THREE, I knew it was kismet.
S, SS & me = THREE
I have THREE bratty nephews.
I'm THIRTY THREE at this very moment.
I own THREE cars. (Technically we have 6 vehicles at the house, but only THREE are in my name.)
So, why all the excitement about THREE today?
FOOD LION TRIPLES - that's what!
All of my transactions are posted at Craving Savings. Feel free to pop over to see the great deals I'm getting.
I fully admit that I'm a coupon-a-holic. Don't judge.
Have a great weekend ya'll!

Tidy Tuesday
On this edition of Tidy Tuesday we are going to talk about cleaning up...but not like you think.
Instead of allowing this title to dictate my evening's to-do list tonight, I threw caution to the wind and went on my weekly excursions to CVS & Wags. Therefore this Tidy Tuesday we'll be talking about "cleaning up" at the drugstores.
Ya' know getting things for cheap.
If you haven't popped over to my other blog - Craving Savings - lately, you should because I'm on top of all the deals at CVS, Wags, Food Lion and Kroger.
Although I will admit Kroger has not been impressing me with their sale ads for two weeks running. Hello, Kroger - you really should step up your game.
Ahem.
As I was saying, I've been "cleaning up" at these stores for the past nine months and counting. My savings tally for 2009 so far is$3466.56 $3710.21. That's not counting what I got tonight.
Afterbragging talking about my great deals some of my friends - IRL and fellow bloggers - decided to take the plunge into the land of Extra Care Bucks. Since then I've heard nothing but great things.
They are ecstatic with the savings and seeing how all those little paper coupons can really add up when you take the time to redeem them.
So instead of cleaning my filthy house for this post, I sacrificed and went on another trip to CVS to show you how easy it is to do.
Tonight I got this AND 4- 12 packs of soda:

For only 98 CENTS. As in 98 pennies...as in not even a dollar...as in less than you would pay for ONE of those Vitamin Waters.
And if I can do it, YOU can do it. Here's the perfect scenario to start you out:
1. Buy 3 Kellogg's cereal for $10 (Sale price is $3/10 for select varieties)
2. Use 3 of the $1 off Kellogg's coupons found HERE.
3. Pay $7 + tax and receive $5 ECB's.
Bada Bing baby! Welcome to the game...the drugstore game.
If you really want to be adventurous and do TWO transactions I would say to start with the Adidas deodorant that is on sale for $3.99.
1. Pay for deodorant and receive $3.00 ECB's. (BTW, there was a $1 coupon for Adidas in the 4/5 inserts that you can use if you have it.)
2. Then use that $3 ECB to pay for part of the cereal.
3. You end up spending $8 out of pocket, but you have 3 boxes of cereal, deodorant AND $5 ECB's to show for it.
How ya' like me now?
Yep, I'm "cleaning up" and you can too!
Now that I've admitted I have an addition to a certain drugstore in my area, and that my house is filthy, feel free to leave me a comment about how great I am. No, really I won't mind. Then head over to Denise and Brandy's place to see what kind of "cleaning up" they are doing for Tidy Tuesday.

I dare you...
I think I'm caught up on all my blog reading and I'm finally ready to post. Normally I like to add lots of pictures to my posts. I do this because I like to share and I know it's one of my favorite things when I read other blogs. Actually putting a face to a name or getting a peek into your world - pictures allow that and much more.
Unfortunately, I have very little to offer in regards from my WV trip or New Years Eve. Why? Well I'm blaming this gadget here...

I got it the day after Christmas. It was love at first sight. Seriously I went in with a plan to get SS and I the same phone because they had a B1G1F deal so we would have gotten two phones for about $70.
Then the salesman brought this baby out.
~sigh~
Instead of carrying my camera like I normally do I had my phone out constantly and it took precedent when it came to picture taking because I wanted to play with the features. So many features. I heart all the features.
I heart my LG Dare.
There are a handful of pictures on the phone that I should download and share but I haven't done it yet.
Hey we just put our Christmas decorations away. And by WE I mean S and SS did most of it.
While they did that I was working on this.
