I've never claimed to be a fashionista.
I prefer comfort when it comes to dressing so you're more likely to find me in mules than pumps. I wear the same jewelry everyday because I can't be bothered to change it. I prefer solids over prints.
Having said that I still find myself following a few steadfast rules when it comes to fashion. Like not wearing white shoes after Labor Day. (I know they
say that rule doesn't apply anymore, but it does in my house.)
And I always match. Not matchy-poo-poo - that's something totally different that I
don't get down with - but just matching.
So of course the first thing I noticed last night when S turned on Monday night football was that the guys were wearing pink gloves.

No, wait...they are also wearing pink shoes.

And the coaches have on pink hats!

OMG! Our tv is all screwed up, I thought. Or they have went completely crazy because pink totally does not go with the Packers green & yellow uniforms.
Then I quickly realized that the players were wearing pink because it's
National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

But not just the players; the coaches, the referees, and the cheerleaders were all sporting pink in their uniforms.

Again, I'm not a fashionista or a sports fan. At. All.
Still I can't help but cheer for a very fashion forward, socially conscious, compassionate group of guys spreading the word about breast cancer awareness. In my eyes those teams scored more than just touchdowns last night.
